TripAdvisor Excellence Six Years Running
For the sixth year in a row, Hocus Pocus Tours has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award. To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. 2015 was a special win as it marked our fifth certificate of excellence win, which earned us a spot in the TripAdvisor hall of fame.
Named "Best History Tour" in Massachusetts by MA Finds
MA Finds, a blog run by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism awarded Hocus Pocus Tours the title of " Best History Tour in Massachusetts." MA Finds said of our tour "the stories on this tour flesh out the victims of the trials and those who accused them, stirring feelings of empathy, compassion, and horror." Read the full article here.
Named to Coastal Living's "10 Best Coastal Ghost Tours" List In 2016
CoastalLiving.com named Hocus Pocus Tours to its list of the 10 best coastal ghost tours. The list included tours from accross the US including tours from other spooky cities like New Orleans, Savannah, and Charleston.
Voted the "Number 1" Salem Historical tour by visitors to www.historyofmassachusetts.org
Hocus Pocus Tours was voted by visitors to the History of Massachusetts website, which is dedicated to the history of Massachusetts, as the best historical tour in Salem. Twelve other tours were options in the poll.
